Once he hopped on, he easily hit around 15 mph on the grass in our backyard using gear 4. I rode alongside him, watching his confidence grow and his smile stretch from ear to ear. The battery lasted about 2 hours of riding and still had roughly 35% left afterward (he weighs around 66 lbs).

My son rides his bike every single day and loves it. It’s pretty quick, easy to set up and seems like pretty good quality. Charge time is a little slower but that’s what you get going electric vs gas.

I was hesitant to buy this for my son’s 7th birthday based on some of the reviews but went ahead and rolled the dice. Cutting to the chase it’s a pretty fun toy for a kid who is not quite ready for some of the larger faster ebikes. I was worried about it being to small for him, and it is a bit on the small side but not to where he cant ride it comfortably. My 9 year old rides it too. It wont be long before they outgrow it size wise. No issues out of the box and easy to put together. So far the battery lasts for a few hours and no issues charging. Looks cool and the light is neat for night - crazy bright. On top speed setting it zips along nicely.
